Video’s displayed on the left capturing the mood of who ‘she’ is. A curated rack of apparel and accessories shows the diversity and fluidity of ‘her’ wardrobe. Her wall is decorated with a variety of imagery to portray her personality & her vanity is covered with different beauty and self care products.

As the viewer pans over, they can sit on ‘her’ bed and listen to consumer interviews and emerge themselves into her world.

Moving into the boy’s room, the viewer will see a more organized display of images on the wall showing art, music, and sport interests.

Designed by the Converse Trend Lab, this room buildout was made to show a glimpse into the lives & minds of the teenage male & female consumers. The buildout was set up like a museum with lettered plaques and a map explaining the different aspects of the room. The similarities of trend’s in both rooms as well as the blurred lines of masculinity and femininity was a key insight.
When constructing the buildout, the team thought about everything, down to what they might have in their trash. At the front of the exhibit is a cluster of handmade t-shirts and shipping materials to symbolize the entrepreneurial spirit of teen’s today.
